Diabetes: Straight Talk and Encouragement on Living with a Chronic Illness
Chronic disease affects and contributes to 7 out of 10 deaths in the United States; and of those, 25% have depression as well.
Depression and anxiety about one’s disease can affect treatment, outcomes and quality of life. Learning how to adjust and cope with chronic illness can improve one’s health, response to treatment and relationships with family and friends.
Join Jack Norrell, LCSW for a discussion where he will provide tips and encouragement on living with chronic disease. Seminars are free and open to everyone in the community. We meet in the Oakwood Conference Center located in the Outpatient Center on the east side of the hospital. Seminars begin at 6:30 pm. No preregistration is required.
