Silver Linings Geriatric Psychiatry
Silver Linings is an inpatient geriatric psychiatry program designed to address the specific issues of individuals 65 or over. The 15-bed unit combines treatments that involve family and friends with an individualized plan of care. The main goal of the program is to reintegrate the patient into the community or find the correct resources to help them lead a more productive life. To do this, we have incorporated several key components into the Silver Linings program that separate it from any other.
We understand the decision to place a loved one in a specialized psychiatric program can be difficult. We extend an open invitation to anyone who would like to tour our facility and meet our staff by calling in advance.
The Silver Linings Geriatric Psychiatry Unit is unique to Southwest Oklahoma. This state-of-the-art facility provides an open and relaxing atmosphere that allows patients to feel more at home.
Aside from being Southwest Oklahoma's premiere comprehensive mental health service for senior patients, we are also a fully accredited facility by both CARF and JCAHO.
