The Comanche County Hospital Authority would like to invite everyone from the community to the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the new McMahon Tomlinson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
McMahon-Tomlinson Nursing Center
a Reputation of Compassion
From its very beginning, McMahon Tomlinson Nursing Center was created by community leaders with the vision to be Lawton's premier, non-profit nursing center. Since 1963, when it was opened on land donated by Emma & Curlee Tomlinson, with funds donated by the McMahon Foundation, MTNC has provided outstanding, short-term respite care and long-term residential care.
We are proud that for 50 years we have helped residents improve or maintain their independence, in a home-like environment surrounded with people who genuinely care about their well-being.
State of the Art Amenities
Now open, the 82,000 square foot facility offers long-term and skilled nursing care as well as a dedicated memory care unit.
Another feature of the facility is the large Chales S. Graybill Rehabilitation Center which includes:
- Rehabilitation gymnasium
- ADL (Activities of Daily Living) Apartment
- Exam Room
- Men and Women's locker rooms
Seven Nursing Stations have also been strategically located throughout the facility to provide close proximity to nursing professionals to ensure access to prompt, dependable care.
The community-minded design allows residents to walk from one “community” to another.
a Feeling of Home
We understand that it is important to provide our residents with a feeling of home. To enhance our homelike environment, there are three enclosed, fully landscaped courtyards surrounded by covered porches. So our residents can enjoy an array of dining experiences, a large covered dining area will be located next to the main dining area, along with several smaller covered seating areas in each courtyard.
Located on 10 acres, a walking path behind the property features a landscaped walking path with a gazebo and pond.
