CCMH First & Only Whole Body Accredited MRI Facility in Lawton
CCMH is proud to announce that Radiology Services has received accreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR) for MRI, making CCMH the FIRST and ONLY imaging facility in Lawton to be ACR accredited for whole body imaging.
The American College of Radiology awards accreditation to facilities for the achievement of high practice standards after a peer-review evaluation of it's practice. Image quality and procedure evaluations are conducted by board certified radiologists and medical physicists who are experts in the field. The program also evaluates personnel qualifications, adequacy of facility equipment, quality control procedures, and quality assurance programs.
In simple terms, what does this accreditation mean to you? Proper treatment can only begin after accurate detection and diagnosis. As the only facility in the region to receive MRI accreditation for the entire human body, you can rest assured that: our equipment is appropriate for the test you will receive; our facility and staff meets or exceeds quality assurance and safety guidelines; and the highest standards of medical imaging have been met to perform and interpret MRI images of the whole body.
