Clewis Receives OEMTA's EMT of the Year
CCMH would like to congratulate Anthony Clewis for receiving Oklahoma Emergency Medical Technicians' Association's 2012 Basic EMT of the Year.
"I work hard and take pride in maintaining a professional work ethic," said Clewis. "My goal is to go above and beyond for all my patients."
According to Richie Bohach, NREMT-P, EMS Manager, Clewis was nominated because of his high standard of care and professionalism.
"He is always very accommodating with his patients and is very professional. You could cut your finger on the creases of his uniform," said Bohach. "If I could clone him, I would have 40 of him."
When Clewis came to CCMH in 2010, he brought with him 10 years of EMT experience. He also served as a volunteer firefighter in Colorado Springs. He is currently attending paramedic school and will graduate soon. His goal is to one day join the Lawton Fire Department.
