Since opening its doors in 2004, CCMH's Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine has treated over 3,500 patients suffering from chronic wounds caused by diabetes, circulatory problems, or many other conditions.
Participants, Volunteers Make Spirit of Survival a Success
Sunday's unseasonably cold and unpleasant weather didn't stop 2,931 participants from running or walking in this year's Spirit of Survival.
The Cancer Centers would like to thank all of the participants who came out to support cancer research as well as the 700+ volunteers and staff members who spent countless hours stuffing packets, setting up, manning aid stations, course marshalling and cleaning up. Without the tremendous support of the community, volunteers, and the teamwork of Cancer Center and CCMH staff, the SOS would not be the success it is today.
We'd also like to send a huge thank you to all of our sponsors!
Pictures and video of the event can be found on the Spirit of Survival website.
