Beginning March 4, Mediflight of Oklahoma will become the sole provider of air ambulance services in the Lawton community. For those who have AirEvac memberships, don't worry, Mediflight will honor them.

Recently three new CCMH ambulances hit the streets, providing a more smooth, superior ride for patient comfort. These new ambulances are also much more fuel efficient, getting almost triple the gas mileage as the older, more boxy models and improving the quality of the air we breathe. The new ambulances are just another way we are continually improving, to enhance the care we provide to our community and improve the hospital experience for our patients and their families.

CCMH would like to congratulate Anthony Clewis for receiving Oklahoma Emergency Medical Technicians' Association's 2012 Basic EMT of the Year.
"I work hard and take pride in maintaining a professional work ethic," said Clewis. "My goal is to go above and beyond for all my patients."
Recently, the local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) honored EMT Stacy Guthery with the "EMT of the Year" award. Guthery was nominated by EMS manager Richie Bohach, NREMT-P.
